Janice Bowling, founder of the Creative Learning Academy, earned her Bachelor (1977) and Master’s (1983) Degrees in Music Education from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. She earned a Master of Science in Education/Special Education (1994) degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Mrs. Bowling has taught elementary general music, high school vocal music, church choirs and instrumental ensembles, private and group lessons. Her special education teaching experience includes working with behavior disordered students in self-contained programs and resource work with high school learning disabled and behavior disordered students.
Janice is presently developing a Living Virginia History through the Arts curriculum, which will soon be published and distributed.
